All-American Day

Yesterday morning Grae and I got up to the desire (long standing) to get some Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Grae's access to a vehicle made this four hour trip for doughnuts possible. On the way back, we stopped off at Cost Cutters (how I love thee). We picked up a bottle of dnL (worst abuse of flash I've seen in a while) and a couple bags of Guacamole Doritos. The best part of the US is their variety.

After we got back into the country (and 6+ doughnuts later), it was time for the Memphis Blues Barbeque House. One Memphis feast and one Elvis platter and two pitchers of beer and 8 very full patrons we parted our ways. Bob headed to Rachael's, Owen took Sophie & Gareth home (and eventually onwards to Karin) and the remaining four went back to Mariko & BJ's house to hang out with K.C. and read swank comic books. The plan was for a movie, but we ended up being social instead, which was cool.
