Labels!

Holy crap, did Corinne just go back and label all the archives? I am in awe.

Blogger Switch - A message for authors

Scott illuminated the fact that the Clubhouse has a scant 6 authors now because I switched over to the new Blogger (because it's more awesome and blog authors who are logged on don't have to type in the stupid key pass phrase to post comments).

To remedy this problem, follow my simple steps (no guarantee that it will work, as I have never HAD to do this, as I was the catalyst, not actually the flock):

Log into Old Blogger (you get the choice of Old or New now). If you're already logged on, log out and log back into Old Blogger. Click the SWITCH NOW button that features somewhere prominent on the front page. Sign in with a google account or a gmail account. You are now allowed to use New Blogger. But, wait! Make sure you log out of all Google products and Blogger before attempting to post again.

This, pressumably, will get you up and posting again. If not, be patient. Somehow that worked for another author of the blog and he ended up with two accounts to write for the Clubhouse (so I deleted one, if it was the wrong one, I am sorry).

If anyone else has sage advice to give to the old bloggees, post it in the dear old comments.

Calendar

There is a new calendar available. If you did not receive an email regarding this you can either leave a message in comments, the forum or email me.

The format is far easier to glance at quickly than the blog, but the blog will still act as a place to post.

Logo Competition

Now with prizes!

See that logo up there? That one. We need a new one. Email your design (similar dimensions, please). I will post them here with the option of "Better or worse" than the current logo as they come in (for the purposes of general anonymity). Responses can go either by email or in the comments. Ideally by "the end", we'll have chosen the best one. Let's say the cut off for this first round will be May 31?

If it's popular enough, it may just be an ongoing design function of The Clubhouse as another way for contributors to contribute.

You guys can have avatars in your replies.

I have enabled gravatars in the haloscan comments. Enjoy.

My oh my

Okay, so it's now August, and I am a total slacker here. Who knows how to tweak html, and wants to help me make sure all the events are up for the month from time to time?

Anyway, since I'm totally behind, post in the comments below about whatever event you have going on in August. I know that there are Alex, Paul, Rachael/Bob, and Clubhouse activities, but I've totally lost track. I'm going to update tomorrow afternoon, so let's help me get the calendar in order.

Corinne Takes A Break

It took about half an hour, but I'm skipping dinner to bring you kids my little surprise! There needs to be some tweaking (blogger logo/haloscan logo/counter and such), but this should give you something new to look at.

Next project: FLASH!

Some Changes

1. All previous comments are gone. POOF. So if you want to comment again, then go ahead. I decided that the other one was down too often (and for a week this time).

2. If you know Java programing (I may just pick this up to use this Halo comments), and want to do some "fun-fun" programming, drop an email or comment to me. I just want the comments box to look not too distant from the actual website. It's not too bad right now, so I may just learn basic Java for the hell of it. I do this blog stuff to write and learn to program and stuff.

3. I may be revamping this entire website in the next few weeks. And by revamp, I mean ENTIRELY. Things that will stay are: all posts, the archive, weekly links, event listings, audio section (may be expanded to include other tastes--drop me a note if you are interested) and hopefully the comments. It's going to be an aesthetic overhaul.

4. I got some email addresses this weekend at the Liver Destruction, but I wasn't typing to the best of my ability (".xom"?), so if you had friends here last weekend who are interested in further Clubhouse events, email on the email I sent to y'all--perhaps with a message to rsvp if they want on further Clubhouse events.
