"How the hell is it that this institution is vilified!"
I saw a nice bit of propaganda on a channel apparently dedicated to the Christian Right. It involved e.g. a segment with scary music in the background and a narrator saying, "The ACLU is for the legalization of prostitution, but against the ten commandments. The ACLU is for killing unborn babies, but against prayer." Etc.
Ah yes, ACLU. Let me tell you this: I am NOT looking forward to the conference in San Antonio Texas on November. The Christian Right there (and everywhere) gets really scary, methinks.
