World Cup venues. Any cool ones? I mean, sometimes it's great to soak in atmosphere even if one doesn't give a rat's about futbol (i.e. I know Edmonton's little Italy can be a fun place).
Aside from questions of coolness, I just don't know who or what is open early enough for live games. But, for those even infinitesimally interested, I'll drop here the quarterfinal match-ups and times (I think)...
Friday: Germany vs. Argentina, 4:00am(?); Italy vs. Ukraine, 8:00am(?).
Saturday: Brazil vs. France; England vs. Portugal (same time slots, not sure which is which).
