Hey kids!
Veterans' Club on 23rd and Main at 7:30pm.
Upside: Best selection of songs and cheap drinks ($1.50 beer or $2.50 for a bottle of Pilsner). Crowd is bizarre: indie chic hipster and thinning haired old ladies mixed with greasey guidos and dirty old men.
Downside: Not a lot of opportunity to sing. Competition is stiff (some great singers). Wednesday nights. Must arrive early to get a shot at singing.
Anyhoo, let me know if you're down with the singing.
